I'm brand new to all this, just signed up.

 

I'm a professional with a mostly sedentary job, and I wanna get fit. My diet's, well, not as bad as it could be (I gave up soda a few years ago and haven't really touched it since, don't miss it at all). 

 

I used to run regularly, I was in pretty good shape at one point. Grad school meant I stopped for lack of time. Wouldn't mind getting back into it.

 

The nerdy stuff I do is mostly wargaming and some video games, although less of that recently. 

 

I find that I feel better, have more energy, feel better about life, when I'm exercising regularly, so there's that.

Your name is the greatest lol.  I also used to run for fitness, then my right knee started to ache terribly at night.  Really the best thing that could have ever happened to me, made me give up running. I then started body weight exercising and now I totally feel like I'm on a better fitness path.
