I've been reading all kinds of articles on Nerd Fitness, and it has been a great resources to get me started on my journey. I've finally started making myself accountable for what I eat by keeping track of what I eat. I've lost about 5 lbs already! But, I want to keep going. I want to keep improving myself. It's tough right now, having three jobs plus a programming class. But, I'm sick of not having enough at the end of the day.I'm sick of being too tired to play some video games or enjoy some time with my significant other.I'm sick of feeling sluggish and tense.I'm sick of feeling like I don't have control of my body. Today is the day I'm starting my journey into a better lifestyle. I'm pushing off the Blerch. I have things I want to accomplish:To learn everything that I can.To advance my career.To keep up with the kids I hope to have one day.To be there and help those around me I need energy for that. The energy that has been stolen by eating too many sugars and convenient junk food. That's been sapped away by that recliner I sit in far too long at the end of the day. And some still has left me due to my own lack of motivation. All of that energy has been out of my reach. Until today. The day I decided to take it back. Quote Link to comment
