TankGrrl Posted October 19, 2013 Report Share Posted October 19, 2013 I didn't want to run today. I'd slept badly. I'm dehydrated. I ate bad food for dinner last night. I have the DOMS from a mid week squat and press session. I have a ton of uni work to do.I made this list in my head as I laced up and got in the car anyway. I told myself that I'll just take it easy today and do whatever I can. I'll at least run until I get to the top of heartbreak hill at the 2.5km point. I made it that far still feeling like the walking dead. So, I'll just plod on to the finish, I've ran the whole way before right? I can at least do that... and so I did. Little did I suspect, my best time ever!
