TheWalrusMan
Hey guys, I'm 13, I'm a boy, and I currently weigh 135lbs, which is 10lbs lighter than a couple of weeks ago, when I started eating paleo, working out regularly, and joining a few sports teams. My ultimate goal is to be at 100lbs before the end of this year. What do you guys think? Is this an insane challenge? Is it perfectly possible? Let me know, Thanks Quote Link to comment

Is there a reason you're trying to cut that much weight??? Someone your age is still developing and growing, are you an athlete trying to make weight?? Beside that, I just don't see a reason behind it. Quote We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. - George Bernard Shaw Link to comment
Thetemplarreservist
Heck yeah welcome kind of wondering the reason for the extreme weight loss first thought i had is are you on the wrestling team. If thats what you see your ideal weight as get it done. Is this goal based on a look you want or is this based on how you will feel if you hit that weight? TheWalrusMan
Honestly it's about mainly how I will feel and look. I currently have too much fat in my opinion cause I have to wear a men's medium, which is kind of much. Quote Link to comment
TheWalrusMan
Maybe 45lbs is kind of excessive. I just want to look and feel good, and that could happen at any time during the way. This is just a rough draft, just to give myself a goal Quote Link to comment
STFU&TRAIN
Maybe 45lbs is kind of excessive. I just want to look and feel good, and that could happen at any time during the way. This is just a rough draft, just to give myself a goal It's great to have goals for sure, but sometimes feeling good and looking good are different things. You can aesthetically look good, but not feel good or be healthy, or vice versa. If you follow a proper nutrition and exercise, you'll feel better and depending on your goals, look better as well. For me personally, the nutrition is what helped the most with feeling good. Exercising, was trial and error, for the results I wanted on how I "looked". I've been feeling really good the last 3 months, and I know it's due to nutrition, as my routines have almost stayed the same, and my weight has not changed at all, but I have lost bodyfat. So it is possible to feel and look like you want, and not have to see much change on a weight scale. So what i'm trying to say is, don't overemphasize the number on the scale.
