Probably should start here

Hey everyone, it's probably a good time to introduce myself before the challenge starts!

 

I've never really gotten too involved with forums before, but I'm going to give it my best here, starting with this... My name's Vallen, and I've spent the last few months at sea. Working out and sticking to a diet can be tricky when you're moving between ships, and don't have much control over what food they serve.  I've been getting very familiar with my TRX, since I can use it on most ships, but if anyone has any advice on training on the go, I'd be happy to hear it. 

 

As for my challenge, my first major goal is to max out the Navy PRT. Part of my job (I'm not active duty) involves doing a physical readiness test every few months, and while I normally do alright on it, I really want to max it out this time. So, for those of you who don't know what the requirements are, I'm shooting for 105 sit ups in 2 minutes (I got 90 last time I took the test), 87 pushups in two minutes(I got 79), and a 8:30 mile and a half run (My best so far is 9:50). I hope I get to know all of you well, and that I can find some way to help you guys!
