waterlogged
Hi my name is Sean and I have a lazyness problem. Oh, and an overeating problem too. Might as well list lack of excercising as well. I know, great intro right?? Well I got on the scale last night, I don't do it very often but it read 241. I was shocked, but not really. Like my title says it is time for a change. I am tired of not being a good influence for my kids. I think that is the main reason for wanting to change. Not really for myself (I am unsure of this statement) but for them. My biggest problem is motivation. I think I know what to do excercise and food wise. I just don't have any motivation/will power to stick with or start anything. I need to change that. Well I know you all aren't psychologists and that isn't what this site is for, but I am glad I found it and will start poking around and reading. Thanks Quote Link to comment

CapN_Tommy_Sunshine
Welcome to the Rebellion! What sort of diet/fitness changes are you considering? Posting on this site has really helped me, as I have somewhere to be accountable. Quote Link to comment
waterlogged
Doing something would be the first change. I really need to figure out a lunch I can make at home to take to work with me. I am out in the field alot so fast food is abundant and cheap. I won't be going to a gym so home fitness, especially with my kids, would be great. I have been reading some of the threads and have found some very useful information. Thanks Quote Link to comment
MegaCarp
Very cool to have you Sean. Yes, body weight exercises might be your friend. You know the good ole plank, push up, and I'm sure you have things setting around you can use to substitute for weights (unless you have a set of course) Yea, definitely, tell us what you are up to, what you're eating (or even what you want to eat, because we've all been/are there), and just the good stuff. I mean heck even getting up for a walk with the kids is something man. Great first step though! Quote Link to comment
