dcfindlay
WOOOT -- i love tabata -- & try to work it into my routine once a week. It improves both anaerobic and aerobic energy pathways and makes you work so hard that you have to hold down the puke ... and it's over in under 10 minutes, including warm up time. I've found that the more I do it, the quicker I recover. First time I tried it sprinting on a track near my house, the whole world was spinning and I could barely walk home in a straight line afterwards. Now I'm getting close to being able to run the whole way home (it's not quite a km) after a hard Tabata sprint workout and only 2mins cool down.Still haven't been game enough to try more than one Tabata circuit at a time. I dunno, it seems to me like if you can finish a second circuit (or a third or fourth one) then maybe you're not pushing at 100% during the first one?
