Icel
Hey, I'm Aviv, 24 years old. 1.8m (5'9) tall and weight 135.7kg (299.6 pounds). I've been overweight since I was a kid. I've tried several times to lose weight (got to 108kg last time), but it never really bothered me until recently, when my Dad discovered he had several severe Diabetes side-effects, despite loosing almost 50kg for the last 8 years. I knew I wouldn't be able to do this on my own since I didn't care enough. So I enlisted a close friend to act as a support group, set goals and monetary penalties. For the last 8 weeks I lost 3.2kg (7 pounds), starting at 138.9kg. I start eating by a study menu, a meal or fruit every 3 hours, and stopped ordering pizza 5 nights a week. I walk 2.6km 4 times a week. I found this website by the article in The Next Web. I think it is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for, and fit right into my support group idea. Crooked
Welcome to the Rebellion! Sounds like you're off to a good start and you have a great source of motivation (your dad's and your own health) propelling you forward. I think teaming up with a friend is a great way to stay accountable. What does your diet look like these days? Quote Comeback Challenge Link to comment
