IndigoDancer
Hi, My husband has been on here for a while and has done a few challenges already. He talked me into getting on here and starting a challenge. I love to dance and sew. I'm in my mid-30s, a mother of 6 kids, 12 yrs to 2 months in age. I grew up dancing and running and have always been in pretty good shape. I currently teach contemporary dance and do power yoga twice a week. I was doing that up until I had my baby so I'm in decent shape but I can do better. I've also ran in a couple of Warrior Dashes and some local 5Ks over the last few years. I homeschool my kids. Between teaching them, taking them to their other classes, teaching my dance classes, sewing projects (for me and others), nursing a baby every couple of hours, reading books, cleaning, fixing meals, etc. it is a challenge to find time exercise. I want to get back to my pre-pregnancy size (a size 6, currently a size 12). I really love my yoga class and have already made going a habit, but I want to do more. Also, I need some motivation to cut back on the sweets, my will power in this area is very weak. Here's to bouncing back into shape! 1 Quote Link to comment
Elastigirl
Welcome!I homeschooled my son all the way through high school. Very impressive that you do that and still make time for yoga and to teach dance class. Woot to you for all that you already do. To fit in some body weight type exercises, try Angry Birds or the Beginner Bodyweight Circuit on the NF site. Angry Birds is good because you can break it into chunks. The bodyweight circuit just takes about 20 minutes so that should be doable to Quote Wisdom 22.5 Dexterity 13 Charisma 15 Strength 21 Constitution-13 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind' Luke 10; 27 Link to comment

Enoch
Welcome. I know the demands of caring for a large brood, and have some homeschooling experience too. Good luck in your quest. Fortunately you've got a foundation of exercise and healthy habits on which to build. Great to have you on NF!
