thecantstopkid Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 For the first time in my life, I benched more than my body weight! I've been working out for about 4 months. I was struggling to put up 95 when I started; I did 205 (1 rep max) today. I remember when we started I was so embarrassed by the little weights on the bar. I just kept pushing and focusing on form. Most importantly I focused on doing MY best and not worrying about appearances. I am proud of my progress so far and want to encourage everyone else to keep pushing yourself. As for me, next goal is 2 full plates. Should get there soon! Quote Link to comment

My current goals just surround body weight routines, but once I reach those goals, I plan on incorporating lifting into my strength goals. Great job!
