ubum Posted August 3, 2011 Report Share Posted August 3, 2011 Hello everyone, I'm Bee and 30 years of age. Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing in at 248#. It is time to stop being obese and time to get strong, fit and lose all this excess weight. "Perky" breasts was the indicator that something was wrong with my weight. Was never a fat kid, but I gradually gained the weight over time during high school to right now. With my ongoing research I've come across three crucial websites: Sherdog strength and conditioning forum, NerdFitness and StrongLifts. A constant that I kept finding on each was lifting weights to not only get strong but to lose weight. I am a total nub when it comes to lifting weights and I am on my 2nd week with the StrongLifts 5x5 training program, so far I am enjoying it greatly. I'm struggling with eating good proteins and greens consistently. Plus finding an eating lifestyle I can enjoy. So far though, the Paleo diet looks mighty good. I hope one day I can be a motivation to others, like some of you and others have been to me to live a healthier life. Glad to be here for the rebellion! Quote Link to comment
