Hello,

My name is Andrew, I am 19 years old 6'1" and weight 275 lbs. this is unacceptable. I am currently trying to get in shape to join the Navy. I either need to get down 205lbs or a body fat percentage of 25, I'm currently at 35 so I have a whole 10% to loose. I don't have enough money to pay for a gym member ship, nor do I have any free weights here at home so I'm limited to doing body weight activities and it seems a lot of this website is focused on that. I really really like this website for that reason! It seems every one on here is helpful! I hate to admit it but I need help, I've got some of my goals set, I need to be able to run 1.5 miles in 13:00mins and in two mins be able to do 50 crunches and push ups. But I would like it if I could set may be better short term goals. I would greatly appreciate it if I could get help from this community!

Thank you in advanced,

Killergamer

Welcome to the Rebellion! Depending on your current fitness levels, here is a bodyweight workout guide and a 5K running program that are popular around here:

There's also this program for getting better at push-ups specifically:

Also, a big part of weight/fat loss is often cleaning up one's diet. What does your current diet look like, and do you have any diet-specific goals?
