Hello Nerdfitness Warriors,

Please realize that just by reading this post, you are doing a fellow nerd a favor.

On December 23rd my wife Barbara was diagnosed with Stage 1 uterine cancer. We are very lucky in that it is treatable with a hysterectomy and she won't need further treatments after that point.
Due to the amount of time both of us have missed work for doctor and specialist appointments, and also the amount of time she will be out of work for surgery (3-6 weeks) we are unable to make our rent payments for January and February. Our other basic needs are met such as food and utilities but we do not have enough left over to pay the landlord.
Any help that any one can give will be more than appreciated and help to reduce a lot of stress that is already built up.
