I feel like an idiot asking this...

Recommended Posts

But how the hell do you insert a link into a phrase?  normally I use [ url=www.blah.com ] Fun words [ /url ].  But that doesn't work.  I've tried HTML and it didn't work.  And the add link button just adds the link, but won't enclose it in a phrase.

What am I missing?

The editor can do it automatically for you. Just select/highlight the word (or words) you want to have as your link, then click on the chain link icon. It will bring up a window where you can insert your link. After you copypasta your link in the appropriate box and click OK, it should turn your selected text into a clickable link (it just won't be clickable in the editor.)

And don't feel like an idiot. As someone who was also used to typing out the URL tags before coming here, I feel your pain lol.
