Deadlifted for the first time!

Recommended Posts

So after joining the Rebellion, I finally got up the courage to deadlift for the first time. My gym didn't have just a bar, the lowest weight is 20 pounds, which I was scared I couldn't lift. I did it!!!! I actually really liked it!!! I also started using weights for the first time in other parts of the gym, and much to my surprise I love them!! I love bench pressing, I never thought I would. Weights are my new friends!! :D :D :D

Awesome! It's great to try new things that you're intimidated by and find out that you like it :)

p.s. - An empty barbell can actually be pretty heavy. The full size Olympic bars that can have hundreds of pounds loaded on them weigh 45lbs for just the bar. But the smaller fixed weight ones are a great place to start! :)
