crowings
For many reasons, I will never be a ninja. It's something I've come to terms with over the last few years, but one thing about it has bothered me for quite some time now. For as long as I can remember, my ankles have cracked when I walk. There's never been any pain and I've never injured my ankles very badly, but every time I try to step lightly there's a distinct *crack* in my feet. Is this something I should get checked? The same thing happens to my dad, although it's not as loud. Is this a genetic thing that just is or could it effect my lower body workouts in the future? I also played football early in high school, but no injury and nothing odd ever occurred even on the heavy-load days, if that information helps at all. Tomu-san
I have the same thing, but it comes and goes. If it isn't causing pain, it's probably not something to be worried about. ret
Same thing happens to me. I attribute it to rolling my ankles often hiking or playing sports. If you're really worried about it, strengthen the muscles around your ankle. It probably won't stop the cracking, but it will provide additional support. Quote Link to comment
crowings
All right, just checking to make sure. I'm not really worried since it's never been anything but a noise problem. Thanks a lot for the help.
