Nightside Posted February 28, 2014 Report Share Posted February 28, 2014 I have been lurking for a while so it's about time I introduced myself.I am a 63 year old Male from London (UK), 25 years ago I used to run marathons and attend aerobics classes 5 days a week (I used to love step aerobics, does anyone still do that?), three years ago I was 62 pounds overweight and was a uber coach potato who fell asleep on the coach every evening.About that time my wife made a comment about my gut overhanging my belt and that was it time to do something about it, forward 2 years and over 40 pounds gone (LCHF), regular road cyclist, runner and gym member,40" waist to 34".Still someway to go and I want a lot more definition but the most awesome thing is people think I am at least 10 years younger than my age, then again they may need glasses.My other interests are playing guitar very badly, golf very badly, going to rock gigs and reading fantasy books.I truly think that this site and you guys will give me the extra motivation I need, some of your stories are amazing.Last of all the scouts seem to be the guild for me, thanks for reading. 2 Quote It's never to late to be the person you always wanted to be.The voice in your head telling you that you can't do it is a damn liar.Endorphins, the best high you can have.
