tonym427 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Share Posted August 26, 2011 Hey all, I've been reading Nerdfitness for a couple of weeks and am loving it! I just have some questions. I'm 6'0 215 pounds, so relatively overweight. i've been trying to lose it to no avail. I've been on the Stronglifts since June, and have seen a lot of improvements and have built some muscle. But my fat is still there. Is it a good idea to do stronglifts three times a week then do an hour run on the treadmill the rest of the week? Thanks to all. Quote Link to comment

The stronglifts will burn more fat than a treadmill ever will, so, do the stronglifts, you will not regret it. Lyssi Posted August 26, 2011 Report Share Posted August 26, 2011 A lot of people are probably going to recommend doing sprint intervals for 30 minutes, rather than jogging for an hour. You could possibly do your stronglifts, sprint intervals 2x a week, and if you do just enjoy your hour jog, do that 1 or 2x a week. :] Quote How to do a pull up: Level 2 "Remember, I'm pulling for ya.
