I found this site when a family member acquired a weight bench set, and I got the idea that I am going to lift ALL THE WEIGHT! So I googled 'strength training' and the strength training 101 article was at the top of the list. My only real goal at this point is to lift all 135 lbs that came with the bench set. I definitely want to continue after that, which means I'll have to find a gym eventually. But for now, I'll practice my form in the privacy of my own home. 1 Quote Link to comment

Welcome to the club... :-) Keep an eye out for free weight plates on places like craigslist or even store sales. If you want a bench/squat rack that can handle a lot of weight, and you know your way around a drill.
