Nothing really exciting in Queens, New York

She's just moving away from Boston now and there hasn't been much of anything here except for some wind gusts. My parents lost power down in New Haven, CT and there has been some flooding down near the water too.

Yeah my Ma, lost power back home in MD and a crap load of trees fell, one's leaning against the house and they had to cut a path for cars in her street

Just blustery in Boston, with some weaker limbs and branches down and littering the sidewalks. We all still have power, and there is no flooding in our neck of the urban woods.

Great day to stay in and work out.

We celebrated this morning in South Jersey with a grilled breakfast.

Nothing like a NY strip, some fried eggs, and roasted vegetables to begin the day. Irene prevented firing up the grills last evening.

Glad Irene played nice and nobody got hurt (other than people attempting to surf, oh you northerners, so silly). Take care guys, we people from Florida will try to keep our sharing to Key Lime Pies from now on
