Rebellion Newbie reporting for duty!

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!  I found nerdfitness.com last December.  I was frantically trying to google "how to remember what eating healthy looks like" while stuffing my face with my fourth brownie... and an article on this website was one of the first to pop up.  I started reading, then read some more, and kept on reading and looking into the site and loved it!  I'm more of a nerd than I thought because not only did I understand all the references that Steve makes, but I laugh at them too ;)  My biggest challenge that's blocking my way to a healthier life is my eating habits.  I really like exercising, and since I've started strength interval training I've really REALLY liked it, and I've been sticking with it for about two months now and am stronger and can see new muscle tone and all that and it's GREAT!  But my eating habits have kept the scale stuck where it has been for a few months (this past summer I was in an extremely stressful situation that lasted up until only a few weeks ago, and, you guessed it, my stress-induced eating packed on 15 lbs...)  I'm currently at 149 lbs, standing at 5' 71/2".  Aaaaaand my little brother's wedding is coming up in May, so I've decided that IF I can slim down while getting stronger, enough so drop a couple dress sizes, then I can get this dress that I've wanted for a long time, and go to my brother's wedding feeling great.  So, that's about it for my condensed story.  I'm excited to be here and looking forward to getting and giving some support to everyone :)
