Heya,

I'm new to the forums here. I just learned about this site from a friend who posted a facebook article, which is amazing since this is so up my alley! I'm a lifetime nerd (Star Trek, Doctor Who, video games, comics, yeah I'm a real nerd), a parkour dabbler (I'm terrible at it, but I love it and the community), a student of aerial dance, and a lapsed lindyhop instructor.

I have my own fitness/nerd blog called Cat-burglars.com. I don't post as much as I should, but I am planning on doing more with it. The basic concept is fitness meets Mythbusters with a female spin.

I've found this site so inspiring! I'm starting my own 6 week challenge to meet some of my fitness goals for an upcoming superhero themed aerial show I will be performing trapeze on.

Just wanted to introduce myself. If anyone has any comments or questions I'd be happy to answer them!

Thanks! The idea roughly is we are two average people trying to see how hard it is to do things you see in movies. Jumping through a car window into the drivers seat, picking locks, shoot a gun, that kind of thing. We're also trying to hit other fitness related goals and also talk about life and our relationships with our own bodies. That's the concept, but life got a little overwhelming so I haven't really gotten to get into the meat of the stunt work.

I'm really looking forward to learning and meeting people in the forums. Seems like a great community.
