Not a total noob, but starting fresh (all over again)!

Hi and welcome to the Rebellion!

Well it would help if you were a wee bit more specific than that but here it goes :) :

- The success for weight loss is 80 % in the diet. Cut out/minimise the intake of refined foods (sugar, wheat, grains). Eat protein as a substitute (meat, fish, eggs etc)

- Exercising is important as well and many people here focus on strength training, either with body weight  or free weights, and do that 2-6 times a week

What are your goals?

Do you mainly want to loose weight or get stronger (or both)?

What´s your current condition? (What do you eat, do you exercise)

With more background information we will be able to provide better answers.

Anyways, good to have a new member!

Don't let all the different approaches drive you crazy, and try to avoid the fad-type diets/programs preached by evangelical bloggers.  Fitness is a long-term journey that's entirely about you and what makes you feel good.  It'll take time to find the approaches that resonate with you and the lifestyle that makes you happy, so be comfortable knowing that what you do will evolve over time.  And remember, no one is 100% motivated 100% of the time.  If you're disciplined though, you will always make progress towards your goals.
