I don't plan to make a long winded or powerful entry here, just wanted to say hi and give a little bit of my history.

I've always been a bit chubby growing up, especially during middle school and high school. After high school I spent the next four years essentially doing nothing but playing World of Warcraft and snacking. Around this time back in 2011 I had a sudden (and somewhat depressing) realization that I wasn't living life I wanted, far from it. Since then I've gotten a job, worked for over a year, and returned to school as a full-time student. I'll be getting my GED this month and I'll have my associates this time next year! Working out was the first way I changed my life in the summer of 2011, I went from 300 to about 250 lbs. during that time. As I've made these other achievements my initial passion for getting healthy took a back seat. Since 2011 my weight has fluctuated, currently I'm about 260 and I know around 200 is a healthy weight for me (6'2" and stocky).

So here I am, procrastinating on a Spanish project and making my plunge official. I've been reading Nerd Fitness for a year or so, I made this account months ago but never did anything. I'm tired of floating around between healthy and obese. I want to join the Rebellion and get this show on the road.

Hey!

Wow, I'm really impressed at how you've turned your life around, that's levelling up! Are you going to join in the next challenge when it starts in a couple of weeks time? That's a great way to get motivated and make positive changes.
