Hey everyone :) So I'm 19, female, 5''4' 139lbs. I have been doing sports since I was little but I've been lifting for only 2 months. My current program is Stronglifts 5x5. I've started cutting this week and I will cut for a couple of months. After cutting, I will slow bulk. I'm having hard time cutting, though. Cause my metabolism is really slow so I have to cut at 1600 cals. But I have been hitting 2000 for a week. So starting from today, I'll hit 1600.

 

Right now my lifts are:

*Squat: 67.5kg

*Bench Press: 37.5 kg

*Barbell Row: 37.5 kg

*Deadlift: 65kg

*Overhead Press: 30kg

 

My goals are:

*Finish cutting at 120-125lbs

*Increase my lifts:

   -Squats to 100kg

   -Deadlifts to 100kg

   -Bench press to 60kg

*Get 10 pull ups (Can't do any right now)

Thank you! :) Well, I know it is hard. And since I'm new to lifting, it is probably not even logical to cut but my mentality couldn't handle more fat. Definitely gonna check the lifting forum out.

The big three principles:  eat protein, allow for a day of rest between strength training, and focus on lifting heavy weights doing the basic lifts.  Plus ... time ..... will get you there. 

 

I've been putting on muscle and am looking at my first summer of really cutting down on total body weight .... best of luck to us both!!!
