Hello everybody,

hm, I never know quite how to start introductions like this... So I'm in college at the moment and have an awesome semester abroad coming up in the spring (New Zealand!!!) and I want to lose some weight and get in shape for it. I've been on livestrong.com for a while, but I haven't been able to make any progress until recently. So I'm about 6 months behind :( Anyways, I've got 5 months to shape up so I can be more capable of experiencing everything! I'm not too far gone at the moment, just about 40lbs over my goal weight. But I still want to get somewhere better.

I'm pretty excited to be part of this community, and turn my life around. I hope that's sufficient for an intro, but feel free to ask me any questions. I'll do my best to be active on the boards!
