Boforus
Hi guys, so I have been at the gym 3 days a week for the past 2 months now and I am really enjoying it, my only bug bear is that I've lost 2" from my stomach but I can't tell if this is good/bad, how much more is to come off and if there are other free weight excersizes that will better engage my core? I feel like I should be doing more varied types of free weight excersizes. On the other hand I worry I'm expecting too much change too soon. Thanks Quote Link to comment
RisenPhoenix
Two inches off your stomach is damned good progress in 2 months. That being said, no exercise will target your core to make you lose more fat around your stomach - that's all dietary work. If you want to lose more, in a more controlled manner, log what you eat, see how many calories you consume, and then figure out your basal metabolic rate and what deficit you want to get you the lose you desire. Good luck! Great job so far and keep at it! It's a marathon, not a sprint! Boforus
Thanks mate good to get some good news from someone, out of all my family and friends no one else is into fitness and I haven't been going to my gym long enough yet to know anyone well enough to ask questions, hence why I like using this forum. Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
