When i flex i have an uber-defined 6-pack but when I am relaxed i don't even have a flat stomach but have a hint of abs. Is this normal?!?!?!?!?!?! Thnx for all replies Quote Link to comment

Waldo Posted July 2, 2014 Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 Muscles are weird. OP - Yeah that is perfectly normal. There is a HUGE difference between seeing your abs flexed and seeing them unflexed. I can see all 6 just fine when flexed to about 22-23% body fat. I don't start seeing them unflexed until about 12% BF, even then that's just hints and bits and pieces in the right light. That gap between flexed-unflexed abs sucks because you don't really look much different as you lose fat and you're lean enough that cutting sucks (hormones are an issue).
