Jabba the Hupp
Just saw this clip from the Daily Show. Pretty Entertaining. About a man who was kicked out of the gym for grunting while lifting. Anivair
yes, thats common. i got kicked out for deadlifting.they have a different target audience than us. I didn't get kicked out, but I was headed that way. I got the funny looks and the glares for sure and I never grunt. Planet Fitness has, as a target audience, the treadmill hamsters who never see any results and keep paying their dues for never arriving returns. It's why there are no scales. it's why there is no heavy lifting and no squat rack. it's why there is no "judgement" (unless you're trying to be successful). Because they do best with people who fail at the gym. Quote Level 3 Human Ranger STR: 9 DEX: 5.25 STA: 14.5 CON: 5.5 WIS: 16 CHA: 5.5 My Current Challenge Link to comment

andygates
Gods alone know what they'd do with my GNYAAAARRRRRrrRRs from the weekend. Call the cops, probably. Definitely not the deadlift target: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-cpojkILO0 -- they even ADVERTISE on the fact (best body in the gym? the guy playing the dumb muscle!). There is a valid market in advertising your gym as non-intimidating. But there's a difference between that and just plain delicate.I think that's why the Fitocracy deadlift badge is called "I pick things up and put them down" too! Quote Link to comment
