I just recently started and am hoping to find the motivation here to make permanent changes that stop the yo-yoing weight. I have always been intimidated by yoga, I took some pilates and disliked it (I think it was mostly the instructor). I am thinking of maybe trying some yoga if I can find some lower cost classes that are friendly toward a complete noob that is overweight and horribly uncoordinated! Any yoga advice you can offer would be great, let me know if you have found something that worked well for you. Like you I need to lose about 30-40 pounds, similarly aged and looking to this community for accountability and support. I haven't been 'round these parts long but I am enjoying it so far!
