paiger81
Hi everyone! Let's just dive into things. I'm new to y'all and am admittedly emerging from a bit of a depression period. Basically the stresses of wedding planning, combined with a house that flooded (foundation issues are no joke), and random life stressors, left me pretty drained and depleted. But I'm climbing out of my fog (thanks to a good doc, understanding family and some meds). Let's see, what else? I'm 33, weigh around 190 and am only 5 feet tall. My fiance (we're getting married in October) has a helluva sweet tooth and I just sort of went along with it when I was stressed. I've dabbled with the paleo diet back in January, so I'm not sure if I want to jump fully on board with that or work with something that's less stringent, like plain old calorie counting? I'm planning on using Daily Burn for exercising and will join a gym if/when I lose my first 10 pounds as a reward to myself. I'm also interested in the Challenges on here, hoping to start one in Sept. Quote Link to comment
goodbye_farewell
The challenges are a great way to get started and stay accountable. Also, there are plenty of people here who do not adhere to a paleo diet. Personally, I'm a calorie/ macro counter. I don't subsist on twinkies and potato chips, but I am far from paleo. Whichever way you go, just stay consistent and you'll see results Quote Link to comment
