dcfindlay
It's great to be here, I've followed NF for a few months now and loved it. Thought I might give the forums a whirl. I've got a similar story to lots of people here -- I was quite athletic in high school and university (weren't we all ...), but years of working a desk job and eating junk have left me seriously unfit. I took an eye-opening fitness test about 5 weeks ago, where I couldn't run 400m without slowing to a walk -- after running cross-country at state level during high school. No matter -- the problem has been quantified and can now be worked on. Vital stats for the nerdy are: Name: Dave Race: Celtic Class: Initially trained as a Scout, looking to redefine as a Ranger/Assassin Part of this was inspired by reading "Born To Run" and "The Primal Blueprint". Great buys. Also read "The Four-Hour Body". Love Tim Ferriss or hate him, you have to admire his mental approach to solving a challenge like gaining and maintaining physical fitness. Got some epic quest ideas brewing also ... might post them soon.
