anxiety
Hello, I don't really do these much so I am not sure how to start so I will just tell you about myself a little. I started lifting 1 year ago a little after I started college. I was extremely skinny weighing in at a whopping 130lbs while being 5'11" I am almost at 160lbs now and somewhere like 8% bf. I love lifting and am addicted to it, I know a decent amount about it but there is one thing I need help on. I basically joined this to get my nutrition down, I am having such a hard time as I just started living on my own in an apartment near campus and I have never cooked for myself before. I also joined to meet a few people and maybe make some friends. Thanks guys! Quote I lift things up and put them down! Link to comment
ironplasma79
Getting nutrition down, especially if you are training to gain weight can be a real challenge for us skinny guys, especially if you're trying to put on mostly good weight. What sort of things have you done so far to get your 30 pound weight gain? Quote Link to comment
anxiety
Well when I started lifting I was on a meal plan that my college provided but I only ate certain things. I would usually get a gyro, general tso's chicken, chicken caesar salad, turkey/ham sandwich, eggs turkey bacon and hash browns. I tried to eat mostly healthy stuff and I managed to stay very lean while gaining so much weight. Once summer started I didn't eat as much and ate a lot healthier so I slimmed down about 4 pounds but I have been trying to put that back on in healthy foods, I just am not creative when it comes to foods like that, especially since i don't have a lot of time to cook.
