AvettBro
Anybody know of a good resource for fast food paleo options? Any iphone apps? Quote Link to comment
spezzy
you don't need an iphone app. are you looking for food at mcdonalds or burger king or just looking for 'fast' paleo options? jdanger
I really have nothing helpful to add other than a comment I picked up a while ago, the source of which escapes me, which is "going to McDonald's for a salad is like going to a brothel for a hug". Guest Carjack
McDonalds and everything similar cooks food in seed oils. I'd want to see what breakfast places like Waffle House use for cooking oil. At least there you can get bacon and eggs. I'm partial to sweet potato fries. Quote Link to comment
kahn265
Chipotle Order the salad. No Beans, No Rice, no Corn Salsa, No sour Cream. Extra veggies and avocado. *edit* You can do something similar at Which Wich if you order your sandwich in a bowl and no bread. Quote Link to comment
Anivair
Second Chipotle. Mine uses local pastures cream, as well, so it's super primal. I also dig BW3. they fry chicken in lard. What is more paleo than that? (yes, you might get a tiny gluten exposure, but if you're not strongly intollerant, it's just fine). The Purple Diane
Subway will also do any 6-inch sub as a salad. Get it with the spinach if you can, not the iceberg lettuce Quote Link to comment
ritabelle
Jimmy John's will do any of their sandwiches "un-wich" style, which is a lettuce wrap instead of bread. A friend tried one and said they kept wrapped nicely, which might be easier to eat on the go than a salad in a bowl. dustinwh
If you really want an app, there is one called PaleoGoGo that has a ton of restaurants and paleo-ized options. I think MDA linked to it several months ago. Quote Allons-y! DWH If you can't fix it with squats or fish oil you're probably going to die. blog || twitter Link to comment
