Papa Raf C
So after a fair bit of lurking, I'm finally throwing in my first dime. I'm a 5'9, 176 lbs., 28 y/o guy looking to gain strength primarily for the olympic lifts. I've been on and off the gym for about a year now, but haven't really been taking it seriously because I had no real goal; I was bench pressing, bicep curling, squatting, crunching, and running at the treadmill at random for most of the time - that is until I learned about Olympic weightlifting. After that, I cleaned up my diet and did a lot of research. I found the Starting Strength program and this site, both of which have been fantastic in helping me with proper lifting form. So yeah, epic place you guys got here. Hi! Also, huge DND fan here, so yeah. 1 Quote No body, no mind. My Battle Log: A Weightlifting Story Link to comment
SpecialSundae
Hello!Welcome!Always good to see another weightlifter around here. There are a few weightlifters kicking around (although I'm a powerlifter because I'm scared of fast moving objects). There's a new challenge starting today if you want to dive straight in. :-) 1 Quote Link to comment
