About gosh darn time!

Recommended Posts

So after a fair bit of lurking, I'm finally throwing in my first dime.

I'm a 5'9, 176 lbs., 28 y/o guy looking to gain strength primarily for the olympic lifts. I've been on and off the gym for about a year now, but haven't really been taking it seriously because I had no real goal; I was bench pressing, bicep curling, squatting, crunching, and running at the treadmill at random for most of the time - that is until I learned about Olympic weightlifting.

After that, I cleaned up my diet and did a lot of research. I found the Starting Strength program and this site, both of which have been fantastic in helping me with proper lifting form.

So yeah, epic place you guys got here. Hi!

Also, huge DND fan here, so yeah.
