Drehmos
This post is copied from my quest log. This decision was hard and scary and I really think I deserve some w00ts for making it. Earlier today I was preparing my post....I was preparing to surrender. I made all sorts of logical excuses, about how my low self esteem made taking on 3 quests just too much, and my single stumble let in doubts that simply crumbled my self confidence and caused me to fail. I decided I'd just work out every day, and try again next challenge. It all made sense. But it was WRONG. I was making excuses. That's all.I was being a coward. I was being weak. NO MORE. I am NOT backing down, I am NOT bowing out!! If you start, go all the way. After all, what would my benefactor Drehmos think if I quit? He'd be very irritated, and let me tell you, when Drehmos is irritated, he ain't quiet about it. And on a more serious and important note, what would *I* think if I quit? I'd think I was weak, a quitter, a coward, a failure. And I'd be RIGHT. So I'm NOT quitting. I'm going to follow through with the promises I made, hell or high water, self doubt or depression. Calorie counting resumes tomorrow.Daily work outs resume tomorrow.Push ups resume tomorrow. That's quite enough lazing about, Yami. Time to get up and get to work!! 2 Quote Everything is TrainingandTraining is Everything My Quest has only just begun... Link to comment
Kaylya
Everyone is going to have a bad day, a bad week, or even a bad month. The important thing is that you get back up and keep going.
