Dash
So yeah this is like.... tailor made for me. Gaming, nerd references, strength programs... even Paleo. Pretty cool. I've been gaming since uhh... well damn I guess Atari? Like the original Atari system. Or was commodore 64 first, or maybe Texas Instruments. Anyway yeah a long time. I also have been doing Crossfit for 6+ years, and a ton of the strength training in the same gym. Good stuff. So here I am. I'm really good at squatting.I'm adept at most MMO's and can heal, tank or dps. I also love PvP and was competitive for a while.I'm mostly a PC gamer but I also have an XBox and Wii UI know a lot about nutrition.I have a 6 year old son and 2 1/2 year old daughter. One of the coolest moments for me recently was watching the original Star Wars trilogy with my son. When Darth Vader tells Luke he is his father (spoilers! =p) my son literally sat there with his mouth wide open and his eyes bulging out... slowly turned to me and said "Is that really real?" I was like... "RIGHT?!?! Blows your mind!" Good to be among you all. 1 Quote Link to comment
shaar
Welcome!! I agree that this site is PERFECT and I wish I'd known about it years ago. OH MAN PVP. I have recently been hearing the siren song of WoW trying to call me back again for a few months... (Last I played was around March-April briefly) I miss PVP. I love love love being a healing class, I used to arena druid/rogue combo briefly... ahh, memories. *quiet pause, lost in thought* Haha, welcome! You'll definitely fit in easy here. Do you have any goals you're looking to work on (maybe for the next 6 week challenge)? 1 Quote Tell me, if you had the strength to take another step, could you do it? Level ?? Dash
I definitely feel like I need a healer when I workout. That would be so great. Ooo 6 week challenge you say. Well I'm recently back into the gym and goals are getting my endurance back, leaning out a bit. Say 10-15 lbs of blubber-be-gone and then hitting the weights again for reals. So... yeah 6 weeks is good to get back to my goal weight! I'll check it out thanks Shaarawy, and thanks for the warm welcome! 1 Quote Link to comment
