Mermaid_pants
Huge victory for me... I've started and stopped running DOZENS (dozens of us!!) of times and always had terrible shin splints. Some may say push through it... But did you guys know that the condition, called medial tibial stress syndrome, is actually kind of pulling your muscle away from the bone?! Ew! Of you push it, you can end up with tiny "stress fractures." I'm blaming it on my big bad ballerina calves, but I'm finally balancing my muscles and feeling super! Anyways, this is the first mile I've run without residual pain and I'm one happy kitty! Maybe I can even sign up for a race soon... 1 Quote Level 1-- Water Nymph-- Assassin Great people do things before they're ready. MattGannon
That's awesome news. Congrats. I once separated my shoulder and it took a long time until I was able to work out again, but that first time I realized I could do it without pain, I was so happy. It's a wonderful feeling. Good luck with everything. Quote "Courage doesn't always roar.
