Hi everyone :)

So here we go, starting a great, big adventure-

I'm a 32 year old, stay-at-home mum of two little ones (4 and 1)- who always keep me on my toes!

I started the BBWW Dec 1st, after a rough cold that finally made me realize how sick and tired I am of being 'sick and tired' all the time! I have always been 'little' aka skinny. At 5'5, I weigh a featherlight 90lbs, and have always compared myself to those fainting 19th century upperclass damsels. I am weaksauce, and tire very easily. I haven't had an entire night's sleep in over five years thanks to my kiddos, and have been nursing my little ones for almost 5 years too (I am still nursing my youngest, and hope to continue til he's ready to stop,) but it has really worn me down over the past few years. I really want to build myself up to be stronger, have more energy, and better health all round.

This first week was tough! Monday and Wednesday I got through 1.5 circuits, and Fridays I managed 2 circuits with modified wall push-ups and squats. For something seemingly simple, it kicked my behind :)  I'm afraid of adding any cardio, because I really don't want to lose any weight ( I don't have any I can spare!) , should I just stick with BBWW for awhile, and call it good?

As for diet, we eat pretty darn good around here, as I am an old-fashioned cook-from-scratch for every meal kind of girl. I've read up on Paleo, but once again, I'm kinda afraid of ditching grains etc. because I don't want to lose the calories... I don't eat a lot (I've always eaten 'like a bird'), so packing away the amount of food I read that I might need to succeed with that seems insurmountable, plus I run a family and my food budget is already working pretty hard to buy organic and local where I can.

I've had lots of fun reading blog articles, and was super inspired by Staci, and Bronwyn. Bronwyn's pull-ups with kiddo are a-mazing!! So, one of my long-term goals is to be able to do a pull-up like that.

Thanks for reading my rambling, and letting me join the group!!

Cheers,

nellie
