article on Bench

Recommended Posts

So, the article on benching talks about touching your chest. I have almost never touched my chest on a rep, stopping about 1-1 1/2" above my chest. it still appears to work, and seems to prevent shoulder strain. any thoughts?

I realize I have an unhealthy attachment to my jump rope.

TRX opened my eyes to new levels of discomfort.

have you checked the rest of your form to make sure that's solid? technical form with full range of motion is touching your shirt. shoulder strain could be caused by issues with mobility or bad form elsewhere.
