We are Rangers.

We walk in the dark places no others will enter.

We stand on the bridge, and no one may pass.

Hey Shagy,

I'm sorry to hear about the job. Please hang in there. I started out with nothing, and it took about 3 years of taking whatever assistance I could get, but now I'm in a relatively nice townhouse, back in school, and I've managed to hold onto a pretty sucky stressing job for 3 years (hey...it pays well). Please keep your chin up and keep looking, stay strong.

If you're in the USA, you can visit your county or state's social services (if you have access to a computer or your phone has an internet connection, just google them to find out where they're at) and you can apply for health insurance, food stamps, housing, and whatever you may need. Depending on the job situation and your state, you might also be able to get unemployment insurance if you were laid off or fired for a ridiculous reason (I got it after I was fired for missing a day of work due to an ER visit).

If you need anything or to vent, I'm not very good at offering advice, but I can listen! Best of luck to you, let me know how things work out.

I hope it goes through, but here's a picture of Zeus from Hercules (Disney version) without his hair and beard. It makes me chuckle

This. Do not wait, apply immediately for any/all benefits. do not suffer or struggle needlessly.

I realize I have an unhealthy attachment to my jump rope.

TRX opened my eyes to new levels of discomfort.
