kirkwojl
What are the differences in the following forms of bent over rows? Are there pros/cons to each one? (other than being able to do both arms at the same time - Even the standing one I'm doing one arm at a time as part of New Rules of Lifting).Hand/Knee on bench: Standing and bending over: Quote Link to comment
Josh_C
I do the hand/knee on bench version because I don't trust myself to have strong enough form for the latter move. King_mob
They are both similiar enough for the differences to be trivial. Your working your grip (straps on DB rows are not an option) and your upper back, and a good deal of tricep. Do yourself a favour and google kroc rows, and do them. Oogiem
I do the knee and hand on bench version. Not sure I can do the other type easily. Quote Oogie McGuire Black Sheep Shepherdess STR 4.25 | DEX 4.5 | STA 3.75 | CON 3 | WIS 4.75 | CHA 1 Link to comment
Guest Carjack
The unsupported bent over row supports the weight on your lower back, so it's only good if you have a strong back. You can also do supported rows with both feet on the ground and your hand on a bench. Then there's this, which combines a row with a plank: Quote Link to comment
