dsavage
I've been stuck at a 10 minute mile pace for years. Whenever I run, that's where I end up, and I don't usually focus on increasing that pace because I'm more concerned with consistency (running X times/week). However I've been working with a personal trainer for a couple months, and she's had me doing lots more high intensity training. So this week when I went to go lift I decided to warm up for a few minutes. Once I was on the treadmill I decided I might as well stop wasting time and get a little run in. I cranked it up to a 7 minute mile pace and ran it. Then I went on to the rest of my workout. The w00t is that running a 7 minute mile is now pretty easy for me, nothing to get excited about. w00t! 1 Quote Level 7 Ranger: STR-10 DEX-2 STA-3 CON-10 WIS-2 CHA-0 | Instagram |Previous Challenges: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5| 6 | 7 | current | Battle Log Link to comment
Kaylya
Awesome! It's always cool when something that used to be hard, isn't anymore! 1 Quote "None of us can choose to be perfect, but all of us can choose to be better." - Lou Schuler, New Rules of Lifting for Women Link to comment
