I have hypertension and am asthmatic. it's a slow process but I'm slowly (like crawling) into change. Once you've familiarized yourself with the boards a little, I recommend checking out the 6 week challenges. It's about 3 weeks through the current one, but it is never too late to jump in and start getting in the habit of setting goals. Best of luck!
