First time posting.  I'm looking for some change and to drop some weight.  I'm late 30's and about 269 lbs.  I have hypertension and am asthmatic.  it's a slow process but I'm slowly (like crawling) into change.  I just want to take this first step in getting a little more serious about dropping some tonnage and say hi  :)

Hi there!  I'm glad to see that you decided to join the community. Crawl if you have to, as long as you are making progress. :)

 

Once you've familiarized yourself with the boards a little, I recommend checking out the 6 week challenges.  It's about 3 weeks through the current one, but it is never too late to jump in and start getting in the habit of setting goals. Best of luck!
