Hi everyone! Just thought I would introduce myself. I have been cruising the site and really enjoy a lot of what Steve is saying. I had Lymes disease about 18 years ago and that left me with a lot of physical problems and weight issues that I resolved once and never thought I would have to resolve again...never say never...

Having to focus on other things in my life/family has put be back to square one...forgot to take care of myself...but getting back on track with that.

I have eaten every possible way in an effort to gain health. I dont do it anymore, but I blogged about it for a long time at www.amoderatelife.com if you want to see more of where I am coming from. Right now I eat mostly "archevore" aka Kurt Harris idea of Paleo 2.0. I am lucky enough to get raw dairy every week.

My main issue is that I get involved in fitness, do really well but go all out and then I hurt myself--Lymes means it takes you 5 times the amount of time to get over an injury and you are really side lined. I need to take it slow and the beginner's body weight looks good. I was doing Zuzana Light's tabatas for a while, then switched to PX90 and literally tore my shoulder and elbow--that was in june--ready to start again--SLOW...

Looking forward to interacting with you all on the site! :) Alex
