GHJS
What do you all take, if any? I'm looking at Vitamins B12, C and D3 as a good place to 'start' (I know you should be able to get everything from a good diet, but I want to try this and would like some advice) Quote Link to comment
161803398874989
I don't take vitamin supplements. I eat healthy. If you want to try vitamin supplements, I've heard multivitamins are good. Quote Quare? Quod vita mea non tua est. You can call me Phi, Numbers, Sixteen or just plain 161803398874989. Link to comment
andygates
A slow-release multivit-and-mineral. Just to plug the gaps when I screw up and think "5 a day" means pizzas. They're cheap enough that it's not a real dilemma unless you're ideologically objecting to pills of any sort. Quote Link to comment
King_mob
Multivatims are good, although as long-string-of-numbers-for-name correctly pointed out you can get by with intelligent food choices. I take vitaminc C as it helps with muscle soreness, and magensium and zinc to help me sleep, but thats it and even those are not completely necesary. Be happy with the idea that your are a lab rat, caged and hairless, covered in tumourus growths, and experiment with your own reactions to various supplements you are interested in. Google some things you feel could be helped (digestion, fatigue, soreness etc etc) and find out what vits/minerals help those things. Quote Are you eating while your reading this? Link to comment
spezzy
I eat healthy, and take fish oil. Alive is probably the best multivitamin I've found on the market, I take it when I remember, but that's about it. Quote I'm no longer an active member here. GHJS
Magnesium and zinc to help you sleep? interesting... I've got a friend who takes vitamin c because be says it helps with fat loss, any legs on that theory? I used to take multivitamins when I was younger but kinda just stopped, looks like they seem to be the most recommended so far though... Quote Link to comment
anxiety
I take a multivitamin (men's one a day, not the best, but better than nothing) and Fish Oil. Quote I lift things up and put them down! Link to comment
GHJS
Fish oil you say? I've taken cod liver oil in the past but I could usually taste it a while later, not great tbh, but it may just be the brand I got that is to blame... Quote Link to comment
Rawbzilla
I take flaxseed oil (4Xdaily) & a multi-vitamin (twice a week). Doctor orders for LDL\HDL issues.... Quote Link to comment

K Po
I take a multivitamin (eating healthy is a better idea, but I take it to cover deficiencies and whatnot), fish oil (because I don't eat fish regularly and need more omega 3's) and occasionally vitamin D3 (because my sun exposure is limited, but it's advised you get your levels tested before you start taking it). sakura_girl
I feel like you can never get too much of D3. I personally take a multivitamin (just in case in the morning), fish oil, D3, and magnesium at night because I am a 100% cacao chocolate binger sometimes. Quote Link to comment
Rawbzilla
The best supplements for fat loss are a good diet and lots of sleep. My problem is that I've never been a heavy sleeper, even in my college boozer days. I can lay down @ 1 and still be up by 5-6ish. I don't like sleep-aids & yet I feel rested. Go figure........but my diet is getting better. That might help! Quote Link to comment
