Mission: Wonder Woman Thighs

Hello, my name is Sarah and this is my first mission! I'm a 48yr old mum, am 6ft tall and weigh 203lbs. I work part time as an assistant in theatres (that's the O.R. to my transatlantic friends). This means I am on my feet for 10 or 12 hours a day, 3 days a week. I like to play tennis and frisbee when possible although I don't often get the chance. I've been primal/paleo for 3 years but have never really embraced the fitness side of the lifestyle. I'm currently recovering from plantar fasciitis which is proving to be a long, slow process that has slowed me down a lot. The result is that I have gained around 15lbs in the last 7 or 8 months. I've joined the rebellion to start strength training and to lose the weight I gained plus more - I want my wonder woman thighs back!

 

Main Quest - lose 28lbs in as many weeks

 

Quest 1 - Do my injury repair exercises every day and seek professional help (osteopath)

 

Quest 2 - Walk up the stairs at work (4 flights)

 

Quest 3 - Start beginners strength training 3 x week

 

Life Quest - Tidy up!

 

Motivation - I need to be able to roughhouse with my teenager and win!
