littlegirl Posted November 8, 2011 Report Share Posted November 8, 2011 I have been following nerd fitness for a while but am new to the forums. I am a single mom of 2. They keep me busy and it makes working out interesting at times. I hope to set a good example of a healthy lifestyle for them to follow. I always thought I ate healthy. I am learning I have lots of room for improvement.I am in the process of transitioning to full Paleo and so far it is going well and no issues with the kids. They seem to love all the new veggies and things we are eating. I have always been active and exercised. I started running a year ago. I now realize I need to do more than just run to be in shape and stay healthy. I want to start lifting weights but havent jumped into doing that just yet. I am currently training to run Spartan Races and my first half marathon in 2012. 2012 will have lots of changes and new accomplishments in it for me. Quote Link to comment
