Deleting the "injury bug" and getting back at it

So I suppose I will start where everything went wrong. About 2 years ago, things were going pretty well. I was running regularly, lifting heavy and cruising along. Then the injury bug infected the machine: 3 bad ankle sprains in 2 years. 😢 needless to say, training went to hell, then motivation for training went to hell, cardio fitness, stamina and lower body strength all collapsed...

My first injury was a fluke during a Spartan Race (I swear that rock jumped out at me) but the 2 TKD injuries were foreseeable. I mean there's not a lot of good outcomes when a 250lb dude is doing a jump reverse sidekick...

So now I am done with TKD and essentially starting my fitness journey from square one. I am glad to be a part of this great community!
