Just got my hoody! One small problem

Recommended Posts

Most (EDIT: allegedly, probably not, see below) people in the UK see a middle aged fairly big guy with a shaven head jogging up to them with "NF" on the front of the sweatshirt don't think Nerd Fitness...

they think of this :(

(There are key differences in the 2 logos but just the letters are enough sadly)

I suppose I should take some comfort in the fact I didn't even think of that before it got here... not wearing it out on a run again though.

(It is fantastically warm and comfy though)

EDIT: I don't want to put anyone off buying them (because they do look and feel great), I think it was just a combination of the person I ran into pulling my leg about it a bit (plus them being ridiculously politically correct) and my physical description being so close to the stereotypical member of that organisation

Had a chat with a couple of people in work yesterday. Seems to be a fairly clear cut off - mid/late 30s+ and it's much more likely to have that association, probably because you'd be old enough to remember just how much fuss they kicked up in the late 70s/80s. It doesn't help that while other organisations are now much more prominent, the remaining organisation seems to be based in the midlands, which is where I live (work in the City of London, gotta love those 2 hour commutes each way). So it might just be a region specific thing.
